Job Overview

Veritas Partners Ltd is seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance function, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and success.



Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly financial reports, working papers, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Manage company working capital position by optimizing stock holding, debtor collections, and creditor payment terms.
  • Prepare statutory accounts and collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance.
  • Analyze and investigate costs to reduce company expenditure and improve profitability.
  • Provide financial support and insights to inform business decisions at management meetings.
  • Evaluate financial implications of new product development and promotions, as well as capital expenditure requests.
  • Oversee treasury function and monthly manufacturing costing runs.


Requirements

  • Relevant accounting qualification, minimum AAT qualified.
  • 3-5 years' experience in a finance function, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS and SAP systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of initiative, reliability, and confidentiality.
