Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Management Accountant to prepare monthly reports, working papers, and balance sheet reconciliations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing company working capital, preparing statutory accounts, and overseeing the treasury function.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare monthly reports, working papers, and balance sheet reconciliations
  2. Manage company working capital by focusing on stock holding, debtor collections, and creditor payment terms
  3. Prepare statutory accounts and liaise with auditors
  4. Investigate and reduce company expenditure
  5. Provide financial support at company management meetings
  6. Evaluate NPD and promotions, and capital expenditure requests
  7. Oversight of treasury function and monthly manufacturing costing runs

Requirements:

  1. AAT qualified with 3-5 years' experience in finance
  2. Knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS and SAP systems
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  4. Excellent organisational and communication skills
  5. High level of initiative, reliability, and confidentiality
  6. Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
  7. Excellent interpersonal skills
