Account Management Lead

The PayPoint Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Account Management Lead. This is a key pivotal position in delivering the PayPoint service to our clients and retailers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and motivate a team of Finance Administrators to ensure effective training needs are identified and addressed, and cover across team tasks is always present.
- Review and sign off daily reconciliations, monitor and challenge differences and aged balances across various reconciliations.
- Liaise with technical and IT teams to understand and communicate system issues, and ensure a controlled and systematic approach is taken to data correction.
- Cover management tasks across the Finance Operations team.
- Perform other ad-hoc administration duties and provide cover for other roles in the Finance Operations team.
- Strong IT skills with good Excel knowledge.
- Experience of working to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Flexibility to work extra if required.
- People management or team coordination experience.
- Financial background.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Reconciliation experience - bank account or balance sheet.
- Banking/BACS experience.
This role is a key part of the Financial Operations function, responsible for ensuring correct settlement on time, every time. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial systems and processes, and be able to motivate and lead a team to achieve high levels of performance.
