Job Title: Japanese Speaking Relationship Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Japanese Speaking Relationship Manager to join our team at Centre People Appointments. As a key member of our corporate banking team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with Japanese corporate clients and Asian financial institutions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and enhance business relationships with Japanese corporate clients and Asian financial institutions.
  • Explore business opportunities, structure transaction teams, and organize and control important milestones for the goals.
  • Monitor customer financial conditions and evaluate credit ratings.
  • Review business plans with customers and manage credit exposure.
  • Control legal and business-related documents with customers.
  • Understand customer needs and provide solutions to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Develop banking relationships with people in specific industries or financial institutions.
  • Control credit monitoring, credit applications, and other credit-related processes.
Ideal Candidate:
  • At least 3 years of sales and marketing experience in the financial industry.
  • Good analysis skills, including B/S, PL, cash flow, credit rating, and credit applications.
  • Good knowledge of corporate finance, project finance, trade finance, and treasury.
  • Business-level fluency in both English and Japanese.
  • Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Degree qualification and/or banking, ACT, or similar professional qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of financial products and M&A, DCM, acquisition finance, and trust.
Working Conditions:
  • Hybrid working available (3 days in the office).
  • No visa support offered.
Salary and Benefits:
  • Up to £68k depending on experience.
  • Permanent, full-time position.
  • Working hours: 9:00-17:00, Monday to Friday.
