We are seeking a highly skilled Japanese Speaking Relationship Manager to join our team at Centre People Appointments. As a key member of our corporate banking team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with Japanese corporate customers and Asian financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and enhance business relationships with Japanese corporate customers and Asian financial institutions
  • Explore business opportunities, structure transaction teams, and manage important milestones to achieve goals and maximize profit
  • Monitor customer financial conditions and evaluate credit ratings
  • Review business plans with customers and manage credit exposure
  • Control legal and business-related documents with customers
  • Understand customer needs and provide solutions to maximize customer satisfaction
  • Develop banking relationships with key industry players and financial institutions
  • Manage credit monitoring, credit applications, and other credit-related processes
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of sales and marketing experience in the financial industry
  • Strong analysis skills, including B/S, PL, cash flow, credit rating, and credit applications
  • Good knowledge of corporate finance, project finance, trade finance, and treasury
  • Business-level fluency in both English and Japanese
  • Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Degree qualification and/or banking, ACT, or similar professional qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of MiFID II and financial crime
