Continuous Improvement Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join a leading environmental manufacturer. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and innovative individual to drive continuous improvement strategies and contribute to the company's success.
Key Responsibilities- Drive a Culture of Safety Excellence: Foster a safe working environment and promote a culture of safety excellence among the team.
- Operational Oversight: Collaborate with operational colleagues to oversee the day-to-day running of the residual waste treatment plant.
- Process Optimization: Set control limits for key performance parameters and ensure they are met, ensuring the quality of plant outputs.
- Technical Problem-Solving: Provide solutions to technical variances and analyze plant data to determine optimal operational setup.
- Process Management: Develop, own, and manage a process management system for the plant, ensuring it becomes the 'one way of working.'
- Training and Development: Develop training and induction material for new and existing colleagues to ensure high operational standards are met.
- Reporting and Improvement: Regularly report on plant performance and identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: Lead, guide, and mentor the onsite team with strong interpersonal skills.
- Effective Communication: Clearly express technical and engineering matters to enable good decision-making.
- Problem-Solving Approach: Proactively approach problem-solving with a well-organized and logical mindset.
- Operational Data Analysis: Appreciate the importance of accurate operational data collection and analysis.
- Education and Experience: Degree-educated in chemical or process engineering, working towards chartered status, with 3-5 years of experience in a front-line operational role as a process or chemical engineer.
- Lean Methodologies: Knowledge of Lean methodologies and experience with their application within a process/operational plant environment.
