The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lean manufacturing, with experience in deploying systems, thinking, and behaviors to drive business improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the deployment of lean principles across multiple departments, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement.
- Facilitate improvement events, engaging cross-functional teams to drive active participation and buy-in.
- Develop and implement process improvements to drive direct labor productivity.
- Design and deploy a visual management operating system to enhance process visibility and efficiency.
- Collaborate with sourcing and supply chain functions to develop a lean supply base, ensuring seamless integration with business operations.
- Educated to degree level or with equivalent workplace experience/qualification.
- Black-belt equivalent formal training in Lean Manufacturing (TPS) and leading improvement events/kaizen.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to teach others effectively.
- Proven presentation skills, including the use of common tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to engage cross-functional teams towards a desired outcome, with previous experience coordinating complex projects successfully.
