About the Role

Futures, a leading organization, seeks a skilled Continuous Improvement Manager to drive process excellence and lean manufacturing initiatives across multiple departments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lean manufacturing, with experience in deploying systems, thinking, and behaviors to drive business improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the deployment of lean principles across multiple departments, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement.
  2. Facilitate improvement events, engaging cross-functional teams to drive active participation and buy-in.
  3. Develop and implement process improvements to drive direct labor productivity.
  4. Design and deploy a visual management operating system to enhance process visibility and efficiency.
  5. Collaborate with sourcing and supply chain functions to develop a lean supply base, ensuring seamless integration with business operations.
Requirements
  1. Educated to degree level or with equivalent workplace experience/qualification.
  2. Black-belt equivalent formal training in Lean Manufacturing (TPS) and leading improvement events/kaizen.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to teach others effectively.
  4. Proven presentation skills, including the use of common tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  5. Ability to engage cross-functional teams towards a desired outcome, with previous experience coordinating complex projects successfully.
