About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Applications Support Analyst to join our team at Sword Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting and overseeing a diverse portfolio of Oil and Gas business applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of service requests and create personal service requests to provide assistance
  • Investigate and resolve incidents and issues related to business applications and systems
  • Manage application configuration, user accounts, licenses, and data to ensure strong security, reliability, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness
  • Apply fixes and upgrades as required, working with third-party suppliers as necessary
  • Execute small projects to improve business applications and provide support for larger projects as required
Requirements
  • Strong technical skills in deploying, managing, and supporting IT business applications
  • Strong analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of SQL/Oracle database administration
  • Knowledge of Web technologies and Windows Server environment
  • Awareness of security surrounding applications, such as SSL, Service Accounts, Password Management, etc.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to operate in a complex environment, working on numerous activities simultaneously
  • Experience of applying defined processes and procedures
  • Positive attitude and ability to learn new skills
  • Awareness of ITIL processes and functions
