About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Education and Training team as a Training Administrator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining efficient administrative procedures and information systems for our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, process, and record information, updating databases and lists as necessary
  • Follow up on outstanding information and provide administration support to the Education and Training team
  • Act as a central point of contact for all calls and enquiries, redirecting calls, taking messages, and dealing with enquiries where appropriate
  • Support the Data Custodian to ensure departmental information systems, data usage, and storage of information is secure
  • Maintain excellent channels of communication with all team members and connected departments/agencies

Requirements
  • GCSE level or equivalent with A-C passes including English and Maths
  • RSA III or equivalent in typing/word processing
  • Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office
  • Knowledge of minute taking and data protection and confidentiality
  • Administrative/secretarial experience in a busy environment working to tight deadlines and managing conflicting priorities
  • Experience of working on a variety of spreadsheets and databases at an advanced level
  • Experience of setting up systems/processes and writing work and process procedures
  • Experience of effective time management and prioritization
  • Experience of managing a busy diary confidently and effectively without constant referral to the manager
  • Experience of managing and supervising staff, including coaching, mentoring, supervision, and appraisals
