About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and thorough administrator to join our Education and Training team at Wiltshire Health and Care LLP. As a Training Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient administrative procedures and information systems for our staff.

Main Responsibilities

  • Receive, process, and record information, updating databases and lists
  • Follow up and obtain outstanding information, providing administration support to the Education and Training Team
  • Act as a central point of contact for all calls and enquiries, redirecting calls, taking messages, and dealing with enquiries where appropriate
  • Support the Data Custodian to ensure departmental information systems, data usage, and storage of information is secure
  • Maintain excellent channels of communication with all team members and connected departments/agencies

Requirements

  • GCSE level or equivalent with A-C passes including English and Maths
  • RSA III or equivalent in typing/word processing
  • Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office
  • Knowledge of Minute taking
  • Knowledge of data protection and confidentiality

Desirable

  • Evidence of recent IT training/qualification such as ECDL or equivalent
  • Administrative/secretarial experience in a busy environment working to tight deadlines and managing conflicting priorities
  • Experience of working on a variety of spreadsheets and databases at an advanced level
  • Experience of setting up systems/processes and of writing work and process procedures
  • Experience of effective time management and prioritisation
  • Experience of managing a busy diary confidently and effectively without constant referral to the manager
  • Experience of managing and supervising staff including coaching, mentoring, supervision, and appraisals

  • Access to a vehicle that can be used for business purposes and hold a full and valid driving licence
