Embarking on Your Journey:

As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will be tasked with performing effective maintenance, including both repair and preventative work, to uphold exceptional brand standards and pristine guest facilities. You will take pride in your contributions while collaborating closely with all team members to achieve outstanding results. A solid understanding of health and safety protocols related to hazardous materials, working at heights, and conducting appropriate risk assessments is essential.

Joining the dedicated Maintenance and Engineering Department, your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring that all hotel supplies and services are functioning optimally
  • Addressing daily maintenance requests as directed by the Property Coordinator or Facilities Manager
  • Conducting regular testing and maintenance on hotel machinery and equipment
  • Executing structured Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to a high standard
  • Performing any necessary remedial or reactive maintenance within our properties
  • Maintaining all electrical systems and conducting quarterly RCD (Residual Circuit Device) tests
  • Providing on-call support alongside the Facilities Manager or as needed

On your first day, you will embark on a structured 12-week training program designed to equip you with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to excel as a Facilities Maintenance Specialist. We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have experience in a similar role
  • Possess a solid understanding of building regulations
  • Are proficient in using power tools and hand tools
  • Have a good grasp of building services, including plumbing, carpentry, or electrical work
  • Demonstrate a high level of craftsmanship in tiling and grouting
  • Are health and safety conscious
  • Can multitask and pay excellent attention to detail
  • Have a genuine desire to provide a warm welcome to our guests
