We are pleased to announce an opportunity with a leading disability support and housing organization seeking a Facilities Operations Manager.
This role is part-time, operating on a 4-day work week, and offers a hybrid working arrangement.
The Facilities Operations Manager will report directly to the Director of Finance and Resources and will be accountable for ensuring the delivery of exceptional 'front of house' services for the residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building and Environment Management: Ensure that the premises, living spaces, and surrounding areas are maintained to the highest standards, with timely completion of all repairs.
- Provide leadership and oversight to the estate management and maintenance teams, ensuring prioritization of tasks and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Conduct regular assessments of residents' accommodations and communal areas in collaboration with management to ensure alignment with residents' needs.
External Contractor Oversight:
- Manage the maintenance budget to ensure all building projects align with financial forecasts, ensuring value for money from suppliers.
- Maintain and evaluate a comprehensive schedule of contracts and service level agreements with contractors to guarantee uninterrupted services for residents.
- Monitor the performance of external service providers and advise senior management on the procurement of maintenance and ancillary services as necessary.
Health and Safety Compliance:
- Provide proactive support to the Senior Management Team regarding health and safety and fire risk management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and conduct regular checks across the organization.
In this role, you will also be responsible for managing the performance and development of your team, conducting regular supervision, and facilitating annual performance reviews.
