Search Consultancy is collaborating with a prominent client in Edinburgh to fill this position.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive administrative support to the HR department.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all onboarding documentation and conduct pre-employment verifications.
  • Oversee the processing of employee departures through the HR system.
  • Maintain accurate records of leave and absences within the HR system, promptly addressing any issues that arise.
  • Assist with recruitment processes, including crafting and posting job advertisements, managing incoming applications, updating candidates on their status, and scheduling interviews.
  • Create correspondence and documents utilizing mail merges, templates, and electronic signature tools.
  • Handle employment terms and contract modifications for staff as necessary, ensuring timely communication with payroll.
  • Monitor the HR and Recruitment email accounts, addressing queries when possible and escalating as needed.
  • Prepare reports using internal software as required.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and company policies regarding data management.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the broader HR team across various tasks.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • Proven experience in an HR administrative capacity, performing duties aligned with those outlined above - this experience is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to effectively prioritize a diverse and often demanding workload.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient IT skills, including comprehensive knowledge of the MS Office suite.
