About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our multidisciplinary team in Primary Care. As a Paramedic Specialist, you will work closely with GPs and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate telephone triage and take clinical responsibility for patients who require urgent appointments.
  • Assist in the production of safeguarding reports and private medical work.
  • Provide a specialist Paramedic resource for healthcare professionals and service users, working collaboratively with the Multidisciplinary Team.
  • Work autonomously as an accountable Paramedic, delivering a holistic approach to patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Assess, diagnose, treat, refer, or signpost patients with undifferentiated or undiagnosed conditions relating to minor illness or minor injury.
  • Support GPs with home visits, with remuneration for travel provided.
Requirements
  • BSc or Foundation in Paramedic Science is essential.
  • Registration with the HCPC as a Paramedic in the UK is required.
  • Experience working as a Paramedic in the UK is necessary.
  • Applicants with on-the-road or ambulance service background may apply.

We serve our patients across 8 CQC Good rated sites in Lambeth, Southwark, and Lewisham, with each site having its own dedicated multidisciplinary team.
