Position Overview

The Site Financial Manager will oversee all financial reporting and compliance functions for the site, ensuring timely and accurate monthly financial statements and analyses. This role is integral to the Site Management Team and will report directly to the Group Financial Controller.

In collaboration with the Group Financial Controller, local management, and site finance teams, the Site Financial Manager will act as a trusted advisor, engaging with the finance department to uphold a strong internal control environment, maintain accurate SOX process documentation, and identify opportunities to enhance the financial performance of Building Services and Utilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and supervise the accounting records for the site.
  • Administer and process sales rebates for the site.
  • Coordinate and drive SOX reviews and ensure compliance with established timelines, including regular updates and consolidation of SOX documentation.
  • Mentor and develop a team member.
  • Manage both Internal and External Audit processes, including coordinating site audits and year-end schedules, and ensuring timely resolution of any identified issues.
  • Lead the annual inventory audit and collaborate with site leadership to identify opportunities for cycle count exemptions.
  • Prepare annual statutory accounts in accordance with established timelines and liaise with the Company’s Accountants and Auditors.
  • Compile annual and quarterly tax information for Corporation tax obligations, addressing inquiries from the Company’s tax advisors as necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess a recent qualification in CIMA or ACCA. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are essential, along with the ability to thrive under pressure while adhering to reporting deadlines. A proven history of effective business partnering with various stakeholders is also required.
