Group Financial Planning Manager

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our team at Investigo. As a key member of our finance management team, you will play a critical role in driving the development of our organisation's short and long-term financial plans, shaping management reporting, and providing strategic decision support.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Deputy to the Group Financial Controller**: Provide cover as needed and support the Group Financial Controller in their duties.
  • **Financial Planning**: Lead the long-term strategic and financial planning, annual budgeting, and quarterly forecasting. This involves setting timetables, designing and implementing approaches, coordinating delivery across business units, consolidating, reporting, and analysing submissions, and providing presentational output for signing off plans.
  • **Cashflow Management**: Manage foreign currencies and ensure effective cashflow management.
  • **Consolidations**: Consolidate multiple divisions and provide commentary and present to the Board.
  • **Financial Reporting**: Prepare the Group weekly and monthly performance reporting, which is used for Executive and Board meetings, working closely with the Group CFO. Clear and concise communication of financial information and insights is crucial to facilitate informed decision-making across the organisation.
  • **Strategic Decision Support**: Involvement in ad hoc strategic projects, which could be group-wide or specific business vertical projects. This will include financial modelling, scenario analysis, and investment appraisal for new initiatives, acquisitions, or capital projects.
  • **Continuous Improvement**: Help drive continuous improvement across the finance function, simplifying core processes and improving financial planning, reporting, and cash management.
