Job Title: Office Manager

Bright Side Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to join their team. As a key member of the construction and roofing specialist business, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a smooth workflow, and supporting the administrative needs of the business and construction team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Office Administration: Oversee the general management of the office environment, coordinate with suppliers and sub-contracted partners, manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensure the office is organized, and manage the office calendar.
  • Project Support: Support the Director and construction team with project documentation, coordinate with subcontractors, clients, and suppliers, maintain and organize project files, and assist in preparing project reports.
  • Financial Management: Assist with payroll processing, timekeeping, and tracking hours worked for site staff, process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports, track project costs, and assist in financial reporting.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all office and project documentation comply with construction industry standards and regulations, assist in maintaining OSHA logs and construction site safety documentation, and ensure all certificates, permits, and licenses are up to date.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in office management, gained from within a construction-related industry.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in MS Office Suite, and experience with construction management software.
  • Familiarity with financial processes, invoicing, and budgeting, knowledge of construction compliance regulations and safety standards, and a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
