About the Role

Roxwell Talent is seeking a highly skilled Senior Human Resources Advisor to join their dynamic HR team. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in providing a comprehensive and effective HR service to the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the HR function in delivering a best-in-class HR service, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee employee relations, including complex conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures, to maintain a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with managers and leaders, providing expert advice and guidance on HR-related matters.
  • Drive core people processes, such as parental leave, probation, and performance reviews, to ensure seamless employee onboarding and development.
  • Coach and influence managers to promote a culture of excellence, providing recommendations on people-related issues.
  • Collaborate with the People and Reward Manager and HR Business Partners to ensure clear communication, alignment, and consistency of approach.
  • Handle first and second-level queries from employees regarding general HR and benefits, providing timely and effective support.
  • Monitor employee absence and liaise with employees on sick leave, arranging meetings and OH referrals as needed.
  • Produce reports and management information from the HR Management System and other sources, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare correspondence on general HR matters, such as exit interviews, return to work meetings, and performance meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies, maintaining a proactive approach to risk management.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures, driving innovation and excellence.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Advisor in a confidential professional services environment, ideally with a strong understanding of HR best practices.
  • CIPD level 5 or degree in Human Resources Management or a related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in HR principles.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practices, with a solution-focused approach to conflict resolution.
  • Proficiency in HR management systems, with a proactive approach to employee engagement and wellbeing.
  • Proven ability to plan and implement projects/initiatives, with analytical skills to quickly evaluate data/situations and reach conclusions.
  • Excellent relationship building and influencing skills, with the ability to work with attention to detail and high standards, while working at pace.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, professional services or legal organization would be highly desirable.
