Night Residence Services Coordinator
Salary: Grade 3 (£22,214 to 23,144 p.a.)
Essential: A full current valid driving licence (for manual vehicles) and recent driving experience with the ability to drive in a safe and appropriate manner.
The Residential Services department offers housing for approximately 8,500 students at the University of Leeds, providing both self-catered and catered accommodations across various locations. Our mission is to deliver exceptional student housing experiences and facilitate meetings and conferences.
We are looking for a friendly, customer-oriented professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in a customer-facing role, showcasing excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be capable of working independently with minimal oversight while also collaborating effectively within a larger team. Your responsibilities will include delivering a high-quality reception service to our clients, performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks, and conducting site evaluations. Additionally, you will oversee the performance of external contractors in accordance with our Service Level Agreements.
Our Residence staff must provide a versatile service, adapting to the operational needs of the business. While you will be stationed at one of our Residence locations, flexibility to work at other sites as needed is essential. This role also requires driving a Residential Services vehicle, necessitating a full current valid driving licence (manual vehicles) and recent driving experience.
The standard working pattern for this position consists of 4 days on duty followed by 4 days off, with each shift lasting 10 hours and including a 1-hour unpaid break.
A Basic Disclosure Check is also a requirement for this position.
