Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on employment law, discipline, and grievance procedures to ensure a fair and consistent employment environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and processes, including terms and conditions of employment, attendance management, and performance management.
  • Work collaboratively with the Strategic Leadership Teams to ensure effective case management and resolution of employment-related issues.
  • Apply broad generalist knowledge across all HR disciplines to provide expert advice on core HR processes, including discipline and grievance, attendance management, and performance management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in HR case management, employment law, and discipline and grievance procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply HR policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of the service.

Working Arrangements

This role is part of the Workforce of the Future initiative, which involves a balance of home and office working to support collaborative working within HR and the wider organization.
