About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of IT Support to join our team at GFO-X, a leading UK FCA-authorised and regulated MTF. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for leading and managing the IT support team to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of our technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead the IT support team to deliver high-quality technical support services.
  • Incident Management: Oversee the resolution of technical issues and ensure timely and effective solutions.
  • IT Service Delivery: Ensure the smooth operation of IT services and develop and implement IT support policies and procedures.
  • Compliance and Security: Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with industry standards, as well as maintain the security and integrity of IT systems.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure seamless IT operations.
  • Knowledge Management: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies and develop and maintain IT support documentation.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews of IT support staff and implement performance improvement plans as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in IT support management, preferably in an exchange or financial services environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading and motivating IT support teams.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with IT support best practices, including incident management, change management, and service level agreements, as well as knowledge of IT infrastructure components and IT security principles.
