About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Nursing and Care Home Manager to lead our team at Brandon Trust. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the effective management of our care homes and ensuring that every individual supported by us feels valued and cared for.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical management and leadership to the area nursing team, ensuring that high-quality care is delivered to our service users.
  • Coordinate and deploy area resources in the most optimal way, responding to need and in compliance with good governance.
  • Implement processes that support managers to fulfill their responsibilities in relation to Health and Safety regulations.
  • Coordinate, respond to, and satisfactorily manage complaints, ensuring that our service users' voices are heard and valued.
  • Champion person-centered approaches, ensuring that they are key elements of our overall strategy and service delivery.
  • Ensure that actions derived from customer surveys and voices events are kept live and actioned, driving continuous improvement across our services.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of operational management experience with a successful track record of leadership.
  • Current registration with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Experience in clinical supervision of trained Nurses.
  • Developing and delivering high-quality new services and transforming services.
  • Commercial awareness, business development, contract management, and strong financial management skills.
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A positive approach towards working with people with learning disabilities.
