Our client, a leading professional membership organization in the oil and gas sector, is seeking a Senior Editorial Manager to spearhead the editorial department's functions. This role involves guiding a team of Editorial Managers and content creators to produce high-quality materials for their digital platforms, publications, standards, and research documents.

The Senior Editorial Manager will possess a solid foundation in professional publishing and exceptional leadership capabilities. This strategic position requires collaboration with senior stakeholders to generate influential content that resonates with the company's brand identity, strategic objectives, and audience needs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Directing and mentoring a team, establishing clear objectives, expectations, and performance indicators
  • Formulating and executing editorial strategies that align with the organization's brand and strategic ambitions
  • Supervising the planning of diverse content types, including publications, articles, reports, white papers, blog entries, newsletters, and multimedia assets
  • Managing multiple content initiatives and overseeing the editorial schedule
  • Acting as the primary liaison for senior stakeholders
  • Maintaining communication with authors and project stakeholders, overseeing publishing project timelines
  • Creating internal processes for document development

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in editorial or content management, with a proven track record in a senior or managerial capacity.
