Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Team Coordinator to join our team at Office Angels. As an Operations Team Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and administering production works orders, ensuring the availability of customer orders to agreed dates. You will work closely with the Production Planning, Purchasing, and Transport departments to achieve shared objectives in a fast-paced retail operations environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Progress and administer production works orders to ensure customer orders are available to agreed dates.
  • Work closely with Production Planning, Purchasing, and Transport departments to achieve shared objectives.
  • Maintain up-to-date training and awareness to provide occasional cover for sickness and holidays in other departments.
  • Ensure quality, cost, and efficiency objectives are met, and take an active role in continuous improvement to drive out waste from all processes and reduce costs.
  • Liaise with Sales and customers on stock availability, lead times, and customer order progress queries.
  • Monitor production promises and ensure they are kept, including weekly routines for key customer groups.
  • Book production output onto stock ledger and maintain accuracy of stock ledger for timber items.
  • Print and issue daily Works Order reports to Production and Treatment areas.
  • Raise and book EQs (exceptional customer orders).
  • Administer production of Courtyard gates and special timber orders, including inter-depot orders where applicable.
  • Maintain and update production status of items on production programmes.
  • Cover for other departments within Retail Operations office as required.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A strong administration background, ideally working closely with production or supply chain.
  • Strong system and IT skills.
