Relief Coordinator

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Relief Coordinator to support our services by managing the staffing of relief workers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the deployment of relief workers, managing staff training and development, and ensuring that services have adequate coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify staffing resource gaps and manage recruitment, selection, and onboarding of relief workers.
* Collaborate with managers to scrutinise rotas to ensure optimum resourcing levels, where necessary challenging any over-provisioning in support of effective budget management.
* Build and strengthen the roster of workers to ensure coverage across all services.
* Work closely with external agencies to arrange emergency cover as needed.
* Maintain up-to-date digital records of staff training and ensure continuous professional development.
* Manage reports and spreadsheets to maintain oversight of operational needs.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in relief coordination, scheduling, or a related support services role.
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to handle competing priorities effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Teams.
* High attention to detail and a proactive approach to solving challenges.
* The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
