Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team in Halifax. The successful candidate will provide expert advice on HR policies, procedures, and employment law, manage employee relations, and support managers in all aspects of people management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on HR policies, procedures, and employment law to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Manage employee relations, including handling disciplinaries, grievances, and performance management, to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and talent development to ensure the right people are in the right roles.
- Support managers in all aspects of people management, offering guidance on HR best practices to drive business success.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives to improve employee engagement and workplace culture, driving business growth and success.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar HR role, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards) is desirable but not essential.
