This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor looking to take the next step in their career in an autonomous role. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our HR team and support managers with all aspects of HR, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, policy, procedure, and projects.
Key Responsibilities- Employee Relations: Support all managers with employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinary procedures, and grievance handling.
- Employee Engagement: Drive employee engagement initiatives throughout the organization, including employee recognition programs, team-building activities, and communication campaigns.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Work with managers to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies, including job postings, interviews, and selection processes. Create and implement an onboarding process for new hires, including orientation, training, and integration into the team.
- Learning and Development: Assess training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives, including workshops, training programs, and coaching sessions.
- HR Administration: Provide administrative support to the HR team, including data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
- Project Management: Support the HR team on wider projects, including HR system implementation, policy development, and process improvement initiatives.
- A proven background in a similar Human Resource role, with a minimum of CIPD level 5 or equivalent.
- Capable of handling employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinary procedures, and grievance handling.
- Exposure to dealing with employment unions and collective bargaining agreements.
- Used to working in a fast-paced environment, ideally within a manufacturing or production setting.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and a self-sufficient attitude with the ability to work autonomously.
- Good working knowledge of MS packages, including Excel, and other HR software systems.
