About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Teaching Assistant to support learners with special educational needs in a school that is committed to creating a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Work with students on a one-to-one and group basis to provide tailored support and guidance.
- Support children who have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) to ensure their individual needs are met.
- Differentiate learning to meet each learner's needs, adapting teaching methods to ensure inclusivity and accessibility.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Monitor and report on learner progress, providing regular updates to the class teacher and other relevant stakeholders.
- Assist with classroom management and organisation, ensuring a smooth and efficient learning environment.
- Encourage and engage learners in their personal and academic learning, promoting a love of learning and a growth mindset.

- Ability to manage challenging behaviour and provide support to students with complex needs.
