Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

Engage Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Autism and various Learning Disabilities in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with Autism and Learning Disabilities, following the guidance of the Class Teacher.
  • Work collaboratively with the support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote social, emotional, and academic growth in students.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting students with SEND.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting students with Autism and Learning Disabilities.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with students with Autism and Learning Disabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced school environment.
