Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team as we continue to expand our bespoke inclusion unit within the school. The successful candidate will work alongside a SEND teacher and the school's SENDCo to provide targeted support to pupils with complex SEND needs. Key Responsibilities: * Provide 1-1 and small group learning experiences to pupils with complex SEND needs * Develop and implement personalized learning plans to meet specific needs * Work collaboratively with the SEND teacher and SENDCo to ensure pupils receive the targeted support they need * Contribute to statutory reviews and implement recommended programmes of work Requirements: * Experience of working with a range of complex SEND needs within a specialist or mainstream setting * Skills and enthusiasm for working with children with SEMH needs * Knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum and other related incremental target setting documents * Excellent interpersonal and organization skills * Ability to work well with other professionals and outside agencies What We Offer: * A happy school community where children are eager to learn * A modern, stimulating learning environment * Opportunities and support to develop and enhance your career * Supportive, committed governors, staff, and parents/carers Commitment to Safeguarding: Oulton Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
