Job Description

AtkinsRéalis is a leading global consultancy with over 100 years of design and engineering expertise. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Nuclear Safety Engineer to join our team in the UK.

Your Role

As a Senior Nuclear Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for providing safety case support throughout the design life of a facility and/or operation. You will work closely with project partners to ensure a safety-informed design and engage with stakeholders to facilitate 'Right First Time' delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shaping the nuclear safety case strategy
  • Working closely with project partners to ensure a safety-informed design
  • Engaging with stakeholders to facilitate 'Right First Time' delivery
  • Undertaking safety assessments and safety analysis
  • Producing safety reports and other technical documents
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nuclear Safety Engineer with a strong background in safety, ideally within the defence and nuclear domain, or other highly regulated industries. You will have a proven track record of delivering safety case support and have excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
