General Foreman/woman

**General Foreman / Construction Manager (Civils/Formwork) - 45 Week Contract - South of Reading - Rate £280-320 per day (Via CIS/Payroll Specialist) - Starting ASAP**

We're currently recruiting for a rapidly expanding Civils Contractor that is seeking an experience General Foreman / Construction Manager to work on a £5 million Civil Works package. The works include managing all aspects of formwork, steel fixing, groundworks and lifting ops. The project duration is 45 weeks with an option to go temp to perm.

**Duties**
- Supervise and manage a team of workers to ensure efficient and effective completion of projects.
- Provide guidance and direction to workers, assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
- Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and timely project delivery.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the course of work.
- Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and labour hours.

**Requirements**:

- British Passport Holder / UK Resident.
- Clean criminal record as you will be required to clear a strict security check.
- SMSTS/SSSTS.
- Minimum of a Gold CSCS card.
- First Aid trained.
- Come from a Carpentry background and be comfortable with all aspects of formwork.
- Capable of managing the full suite of works on site including formwork, steel fixing, groundworks, lifting ops.
