Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

Overview & Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join our team on a remote working basis in Italy. This position supports the repair and maintenance of rotating equipment, including steam turbines and centrifugal compressors, for Ebara Elliott Energy clients across Europe. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our clients' machinery, working closely with our global team while adhering to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Technical Execution and Compliance
- Perform overhauls and installations of turbo machinery, ensuring adherence to Elliott's standards for safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Adapt to unique industrial environments and follow Elliott's defined procedures and requirements for all tasks.
- Ensure all work aligns with Elliott's best practices, accurately documenting activities and communicating any deviations, issues, or delays to supervision.
Safety and Risk Management
- Uphold a strong safety culture, with the authority to stop work if unsafe conditions or practices are observed, complying with Elliott and customer-specific safety requirements.
- Conduct Job Hazard Analysis and risk assessments for assigned tasks.
- Perform and report safety observations, and manage risk by prudently utilizing time and materials.
Professional Conduct and Administration
- Maintain professional behavior, reflecting Elliott's standards at all times.
- Complete technical documentation on the correct forms provided, and submit accurate time and expense reports.
- Manage local purchases and tooling, ensuring Elliott records are updated with work performed, and contribute to the continuous improvement process of Field Service Operations.
