About the Role

We are seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Orthogeriatrics team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to elderly patients with fragility fractures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Consultant Geriatricians and junior medical staff to provide joint care for elderly trauma patients.
  • Develop and implement new ways of working to enhance the inpatient care of frail, elderly patients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Medicine, Orthopaedics, and Anaesthetics to provide holistic, multidisciplinary care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care pathways and protocols to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of geriatric medicine and orthogeriatrics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
