Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Fracture Clinic Team as an Extended Scope Practitioner. This post involves working as a high-level practitioner with advanced clinical skills within the trauma multidisciplinary team, ensuring patients receive holistic, timely, and high-quality clinical care.

About the Role

This role requires a skilled practitioner to provide specialist management and advice for patients with fractures and soft tissue pathologies. The post holder will work autonomously in delivering clinics alongside Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons, providing initial assessment and diagnosis, identifying and interpreting appropriate investigations, listing for surgical and therapeutic procedures, and following up patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage patients with a wide range of acute musculoskeletal conditions
  • Provide high-level clinical reasoning skills and post-graduate qualifications relevant to the position
  • Work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Develop and maintain strong communication and leadership skills
