Job Title: Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced registered midwife to join our team as an Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. This role will play a key part in improving perinatal services across Devon Local Maternity & Neonatal System.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clinicians, commissioning colleagues, and stakeholders to ensure strong leadership around safety for perinatal services.
  • Oversee the implementation of key national perinatal transformation, quality, and safety strategy in Devon.
  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of national policy for Maternity & Neonatal services.
Requirements:
  • Extensive knowledge of specialist areas, acquired through postgraduate diploma or equivalent experience or training.
  • Registered Professional Midwife with confirmed entry on specialist register NMC.
  • Demonstrable work experience of professional clinical experience at a senior level in maternity services.
  • Demonstratable experience of service improvement and transformation, achieving cultural change to improve service quality.
Key Skills:
  • Ability to identify risks, anticipate issues, and create solutions.
  • Experience of identifying and interpreting National policy.
  • Comprehensive experience of project principles, techniques, and managing successful projects.
