Position Overview:

The School of Medicine is seeking a qualified individual to fulfill the role of a Research Administration Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborating with members of the Research Support Team, division heads, and the undergraduate research lead, the successful candidate will deliver comprehensive administrative assistance across the school's research initiatives.

The role includes supporting the operations of the research divisions by organizing meetings, presentations, and ensuring the divisional websites are regularly updated and maintained.

Additionally, the candidate will assist with undergraduate research activities, including the management of the summer research program.

Collaboration and Communication:
The successful applicant will be expected to coordinate with fellow administrators within the team and provide coverage during periods of absence due to holidays or illness.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail. A strong ability to work collaboratively within a team, as well as independently, is essential. Candidates should have educational qualifications equivalent to Scottish Higher level, along with relevant administrative experience.
