Procurement Division

The Procurement division at Vantage Data Centers plays a crucial role in sourcing essential equipment to support our data centers. This division collaborates with various departments, including Sales, Operations, New Site Development, and Engineering, to ensure effective procurement and timely delivery of equipment. Our distinctive approach empowers our technical personnel to lead the procurement process, aligning operational sustainability with cost efficiency.

Position Summary

We are in search of a proactive and self-driven professional to fill the role of Senior Manager, Procurement. In this capacity, you will oversee the procurement of equipment and supply chains for our data centers. You will engage closely with internal teams and external partners to guarantee the successful delivery of equipment for our initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee procurement of mechanical and electrical equipment for data center initiatives
  • Negotiate contracts and finalize agreements with suppliers
  • Manage equipment submissions and ensure timely arrivals
  • Develop and uphold project budgets
  • Coordinate equipment delivery in line with construction schedules
  • Serve as a liaison between supply chain partners and internal teams
  • Assist engineering and sales teams in addressing client inquiries
  • Facilitate approval and release of equipment
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers
  • Support invoicing, cash flow projections, and budget reconciliation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in supply chain, procurement, or construction
  • Experience in the data center or industrial equipment sector is preferred
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Ability to learn swiftly and manage tasks independently
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 5%

Additional Information

  • Salary Range: $150,000 - $170,000 Base + Bonus
