Market Development DepartmentThe Market Development (MD) team is responsible for driving business growth and expansion within our North American operations. Our key functions include:
Market Strategy- Developing and implementing market expansion plans to meet the evolving needs of our wholesale and hyperscale customer base.
- Conducting market research and analysis to inform site acquisition, site development, and construction decisions.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Solution Engineering, Construction, Operations, Finance, and Senior Management.
- Identifying and evaluating potential sites for data center development.
- Leading the land acquisition process, including due diligence and budget planning.
- Working with external partners to secure necessary permits and approvals.
- Developing and executing strategies to expand our presence in key vertical markets.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and development.
- Leading the development of business cases and proposals to support market expansion initiatives.
We are seeking an experienced Market Strategy Manager to lead our Market Development team in North America. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving business growth and expansion, with a strong understanding of market trends and analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Market Development team in North America, driving business growth and expansion.
- Develop and implement market expansion plans to meet the evolving needs of our wholesale and hyperscale customer base.
- Conduct market research and analysis to inform site acquisition, site development, and construction decisions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Solution Engineering, Construction, Operations, Finance, and Senior Management.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand our presence in key vertical markets.
- Lead the development of business cases and proposals to support market expansion initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in business, construction, real estate, finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in market development, business growth, and expansion.
- Strong understanding of market trends and analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Travel required up to 5% of the time.
