About the Role

We are partnering with a well-established business to find a skilled HR Generalist to join their team. As an HR Generalist, you will work closely with Senior Managers to provide strategic HR guidance and support across various areas, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment Leadership: Lead the recruitment process for all roles within the business, ensuring a robust and efficient approach.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners to drive business growth and success.
  • Employee Relations: Provide day-to-day advice to line managers on employee relations matters, ensuring a fair and consistent approach.
  • Disciplinary and Grievance Management: Coordinate responses to disciplinary and grievance matters, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement innovative employee engagement activities to drive motivation and productivity.
  • Performance Management: Manage the appraisal process, ensuring accurate and timely performance evaluations.
  • Training and Development: Source and organize training opportunities, utilizing the apprenticeship levy to drive business growth.
  • HR Metrics: Ensure all key HR metrics are up-to-date and accurately reflect business performance.
  • Culture Development: Work with the Senior Leadership Team to build a performance-driven culture, driving business success.
  • Project Support: Provide support on wider HR projects, ensuring seamless delivery and business impact.
Requirements
  • A generalist candidate with at least 3 years of experience as an HR advisor.
  • Experience managing employee relations caseloads.
  • A proven background in HR, providing advice and support.
  • Good employment law knowledge, ideally CIPD level 5 or above.
  • Excellent energy, confidence, and drive to deliver results.
  • Professional and able to form excellent working relationships.
  • Proficient in IT systems and Microsoft packages.
