About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Customs Clearance Specialist to join our team at Alchemy Global Talent Solutions. As a Customs Clearance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth clearance of goods through customs, while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customs clearances for exports and imports, utilizing expertise in T-Forms and the NCTS Transit System.
- Effectively utilize software products for customs clearance procedures, including Chief, Destin8, NCTS, CNS, and Descartes.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of import customs clearances, including Port Health rules and pertinent licenses.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless customs clearance processes.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in customs regulations and laws, ensuring compliance and minimizing risks.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in exports or imports, handling customs clearances.
- Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Deep expertise in customs clearance procedures and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders.
