Your Role
As a Technical Sales Consultant, you will be instrumental in fostering relationships with our international clientele, delivering outstanding physical security solutions that drive our expansion throughout the EMEA region. You will act as the primary technical liaison for potential and existing customers, addressing inquiries ranging from account setup to API integrations and tailored feature development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate and execute the strategy for the Technical Sales department in the EMEA region.
  • Partner with the sales team to discern customer requirements, provide technical insights during the sales cycle, and conduct engaging presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Facilitate product demonstrations and proof of concepts (POCs), managing relationships with various stakeholders and engaging with enterprise-level executives.
  • Collaborate with channel partners to enhance their technical expertise and drive joint sales initiatives, cultivating strong relationships with key partners.
  • Engage with clients to comprehend their technical needs, propose solutions, and ensure effective product implementation.
  • Establish yourself as a trusted technical advisor for key decision-makers, including CTOs and CISOs, serving as the main technical contact for international clients.
  • Conduct technical evaluations, prepare proposals, and develop customized solutions that align with Rhombus Systems' offerings.
  • Oversee the deployment of solutions and provide ongoing technical assistance to guarantee customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate closely with product development, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and continuous enhancement of our products and services.
  • Work with clients and the Rhombus Engineering team to resolve product-related issues and provide regular reporting on issues and trends.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Networking & IT Security, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a technical sales role supporting SaaS products, with proven experience in channel or technology sales, technical support, or relevant fields.
  • Strong grasp of IT infrastructure, software solutions, and technical support methodologies.
  • Familiarity with customer service platforms, ticketing systems, and networking equipment is preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to customers and partners at all levels.
  • Proactive and positive mindset with a strong eagerness to learn, thriving in a dynamic and innovative environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with APIs, Python, JavaScript, and other programming languages is advantageous.

This position is remote with potential overnight travel. Candidates can be located anywhere in the UK.

Compensation
Base Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 GBP
Estimated OTE (base salary + commission): $90,000 - $110,000 GBP
Additional compensation may include uncapped commission, sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and equity in the company. Individual pay is determined based on the candidate's primary work location and other factors such as skills, experience, and relevant education.
