About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Planner to join our team at Vivid Resourcing. As a key member of our planning consultancy, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients with expert advice and guidance on planning and development projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit planning applications and appeals, as well as planning appraisals and strategies.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients, including developers, housebuilders, tourism businesses, energy companies, and private individuals, as well as local planning authorities and other third sector organizations.
  • Work closely with our Director and Associate Planner to deliver high-quality consultancy services to our clients.
Requirements
  • Post-graduate experience in consultancy or local government, or a similar degree.
  • Achieved or working towards chartered membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI).
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, and writing skills.
  • A clear commitment to working in the planning and property development field.
Desirable Requirements
  • Two years' post-graduate experience in consultancy or local government.
  • A Master's degree in RTPI/RICS accredited subjects or a willingness to work towards such a degree.
  • The ability to confidently speak and communicate through the medium of Welsh, together with good written skills in Welsh.
