About the Role

Vivid Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Planner to join our team. As a key member of our planning consultancy, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients with expert advice and guidance on planning and development projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit planning applications and appeals on behalf of clients
  • Conduct planning appraisals and develop planning strategies to meet client needs
  • Represent clients at development plan examinations and other planning-related events
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on planning and development matters

Requirements

  • Post-graduate experience in consultancy or local government
  • Town Planning or similar degree
  • Chartered membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI)
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, and writing skills
  • Clear commitment to working in the planning and property development field

Desirable Requirements

  • Two years' post-graduate experience in consultancy or local government
  • Master's degree in RTPI/RICS accredited subjects or willingness to work towards such a degree
  • Ability to communicate fluently in Welsh
