About the Role
Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Town Planner to join their Chester-based team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UK planning regulations and policies, as well as excellent leadership and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a portfolio of planning projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Prepare and review planning applications, planning statements, and supporting documentation.
- Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Mentor and guide junior planners, providing support and fostering their professional development.

Requirements
- Degree or higher in a relevant subject with chartered status with RTPI.
- Proven experience in managing and delivering complex planning projects.

- Strong research, analytical skills, and reporting skills.
