Position Overview

We are currently seeking to expand our team:

International Sales Engineer

Role Objective

The primary goal is to identify, pursue, and negotiate sales for Baker Perkins' capital equipment offerings, particularly within the bakery sector, while contributing to the broader global business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance relationships with clients through regular communication and site visits.
  • Gain a deep understanding of client requirements in the bakery sector, ensuring our unique solutions meet their expectations.
  • Lead support teams in preparing proposals, recognizing the extended sales cycles involved.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts that are both profitable and technically robust.
  • Identify sales opportunities, initiate discussions to promote our solutions, and act as a brand ambassador.
  • Manage agents and distributors within the territory, providing sales support, conducting performance evaluations, and offering product training.
  • Gather market intelligence and competitor insights to bolster our position in the bakery sector and facilitate business growth.

Candidate Qualifications

  • A strong interest in technical and complex subjects.
  • Experience in export sales.
  • Proven ability to sell customized, high-value products with extended sales cycles, ideally in capital sales within the Food & Beverage sector.
  • Experience in key account management, with the capability to promote products to both large and small enterprises.
  • A self-motivated individual who also thrives in a team environment.
  • Culturally adaptable and flexible personality.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally.
