Job Overview

Innova Solutions International is seeking a highly skilled Diesel Engine Validation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engineering activities related to diesel engine validation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement validation plans for new diesel engine technology and systems.
  • Analyse data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to specify test requirements and define engine build and instrumentation requirements.
  • Conduct engine dyno testing and validation test work on internal machines.
  • Document conclusions and recommendations, complete reports, and update design failure mode and effect analysis (DFMEA) with learning and results from test work.

Requirements:

  • Experience in industrial diesel engine applications, construction machinery, or generating sets.
  • Proven track record of proactive reliability and product quality.
  • Experience in DFMEA facilitation, creation, and validation planning.
  • Proven project management experience related to diesel engine development.
  • Knowledge of 6 Sigma methodology and continuous process improvement.
  • Ability to troubleshoot build and test issues and work with component owners and engine test engineers to complete validation test sign-off.
  • Ability to analyse engine data and use it to drive business decisions with clear, concise conclusions.
