About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to develop the role of Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs) in the Mental Health Support Team (MHST) within CAMHS. As a Senior Wellbeing Practitioner, you will have the chance to support the development of this new service for young people and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise, develop, and support Education Mental Health Practitioners to provide guided self-help, low intensity, brief, evidence-based CBT and to deliver groups and training.
  • Work closely with senior colleagues to screen and triage all referrals.
  • Highlight areas of need within the new teams and help develop the service and create quality improvement plans supported by, and in conjunction with, senior colleagues.
  • Hold a small caseload in agreement with your supervisor.
