Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled VAT Associate to join our client's team in Oxford. As a VAT Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient delivery of indirect tax services, making significant contributions to client success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality indirect tax services, providing valuable guidance and support to staff members.
  • Provide technical advice on Indirect Tax matters, representing clients in negotiations with HMRC and showcasing your negotiation skills.
  • Participate in the promotion of VAT advisory services, both internally and externally, handling HMRC correspondence, calls, and inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Provide general support to the VAT team as required, contributing to the growth and development of the team.

Requirements

  • ACCA qualified or part-qualified with a desire to pursue your CTA within a supportive environment.

  • Excellent technical knowledge of Indirect Tax matters, with the ability to provide guidance and support to staff members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
