Job Summary:
William Scott Associates is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Part Qualified Management Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the ongoing growth and development of our client, a dynamic and rapidly expanding Biotechnology company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and analysis of financial reports, including prepayments and accruals, fixed assets, and management accounts.
- Assistance with forecasting and budgeting, including the preparation of financial models and scenarios.
- Bank payments and reconciliations, VAT returns, and foreign exchange management.
- Setup and maintenance of management accounts packs, including the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Group consolidation and financial reporting, including the preparation of year-end audit deliverables.
- Performing the month-end process, including the posting of journals into Sage.
Requirements:
- Part-qualified accountant with a strong understanding of financial planning and analysis.
- Experience with Sage Line 50 and other financial software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new situations and challenges.
